We are here for you!
It's been proven that incarcerated persons that are in
constant contact with their families and
friends are far more likely to successfully
re-enter their communities upon release.
These incarcerated persons feel the support during their incarceration, which also promotes a greater sense of accountability to loved ones.
Marcus started Flikshop to help keep families
connected to their loved ones during incarceration.
Working with former incarcerated persons through volunteer efforts
and community outreach programs exposed Marcus to a
group of people whom seemed unable to stay in
constant contact with their loved ones due to
busy schedules and new prison mail restrictions.
Marcus was exposed to his first prison family at St. Paul Church, through their prison ministry. Marcus always had a passion for family, and seeing ex-felons come home with added support immediately taught him the importance of staying connected while still in prison. Now there just needed to be a way to stay connected, but while on the go.
Flikshop was perfect!
